I am new to the sight. I have a good friend that is selling his "trash truck". It is really a 1985 f 250 that he bought just to haul is trash of in then he decide to rebuild it. He has put a 302 from a 90's crown vic and had the transmisson rebuilt (it is a granny 4 speed) and the transfer case he just put in was just rebuilt also. he has done all the body work. he says that all it needs is a brake booster. He wants $500 for this truck dou you guys think that it is worth it. thanks fo rany reponse
If it's in decent shape, and all it really needs is a booster, then I'd definitely buy it for $500. Most of the time, "all it really needs" is a lot more than just one item.

Really, any truck that will even run is well worth $500. If all it needs is a brake booster, you can grab one at the local scrapyard, or buy a new one for less than $100.
it is definately worth that. i was looking at a 1983 F250 4x4 diesel with a 4-spd tranny. it had good interior and it runs great and it was being sold for $400!!!
