Gold engine color

Hi
I recently bought a Gold colored Y-block engine for my F-100 project. I have never seen that color before. It has not been repainted. I´m told it´s a 292. I´m not sure it comes from a truck. Does any one know?

I believe the gold Y-blocks were from Mercurys, but I'm not sure.

Someone said to me it came from an Edsel. Edsel 292:s should be black.
