Talking Yet Another Gearing Question...

Hey Everyone,
I am eventually looking at putting 33" tires on my truck. I just installed a 4" Tuff Country lift. I currently have 3.08 gears, and I am thinking of going to 3.55. I have heard some say that is enough for 33's, but others say 3.73 or even 4.10's.
What do ya think? I don't tow much, really only when I move or help someone else move. It's primarily a daily driver. I already have a new set of 3.55's from years ago that never got used, but if it isn't worth making such a small change I could sell those and go higher. (or lower, depending on how you look at it)
Thanks for all the help!

Personelly i would go with 4.10's with limit slip it will save you money in the long run.

4:10's only if you tow a lot but your mileage will suffer. I say run the 3:55's since you already have them, and because it's a daily driver.

I don't know what size tires you've got now, but 235/75-15s (about 29 inches in diameter) with 3.08 gears is roughly equivalent to running 33-inch tires with 3.55 gears.

Most people go with 4.10s.

Go either 3.73s or 4.10s - don't go with 3.55s.
