Which is it? For best economy keep the shift points below 2000 rpm and feather the throttle to get there. Max power shifts should be just before the rev limiter noses you over.

Peak torque is 1800rpm stock, mine was closer to 2000rpm, last time it was dynoed.

If ya got a pyro, I have discovered that if I try to maintaince a 10:1 ratio between EGT:speed. plus 100º I get the best economy.

example. 65 MPH, would be 750º

45 would be 550º

make sense??? call me ****, but I get bored when I drive, and I figure I got all these gauges, lets look at em.

i totally agree. someone told me that if i run up the boost before i shift, it'll turn out to be more efficient. any thoughts on this?

Takes fuel to make boost, the more boost you run up, the more fuel you're using.

I normaly hold 3 psi boost when cruising, maybe hit 7 between gears unless I am on it hard, then into the 20's. and that gets me 18's with 4:10's and an auto.
