Does your eye ever get stressed out after using computers for awhile? It seems reading from a computer screen is a lot more demanding on the eyes than reading printed materials.
I heard there are "computer glasses"? Anyone know anything about them?
Computer glasses are normally upside down bifocals meaning that the lower part of the bifocal is placed on the top or you can simply get a pair of glasses that has the prescription of the lower part of the bifocal as the entire lens. The reason they are made this way is so you don't have to tilt your head so far back to use the lower part of your bifocal to read the monitor-cuts down on head and neck pain.
My personal recommendation regarding eye strain when using a computer is to take a break every 15-30 minutes and focus on something in the far distance for 30 seconds or so. By "far distance" I'm referring to something such as a tree that is 300-400 yards away. Works wonders.
