I had to drill the TFPs. I got the All Sales Fuel Door from Stylin Concepts. The one you push on to open.

I have the Putco Mirror Covers, and TFP door and tailgate handle covers. Check out my gallery!

These are the TFP. I have the Putco "chrome" on the tailgate at it is ABS plastic with cheap plastic chrome. The finish is staarting to bubble. The plastic chrome is fake looking and does not blend in will with the real chrome. The door handles blend in perfect with the chrome nerf bars. The TFP are chromed stainless steel.

I only have the Putco brand on the mirror covers. I have had them on since March 2004 and they still look okay. Does make it easier to clean the bugs off compared to the factory plastic.

from what I'm gathering, the "putco" is ok for the mirror covers, but not so great for the rest? are the TFP snap on also, or do I have to remove the origianl hardware and replace it with the "TFP". I'm getting the TFP fender trim, just want to finish the whole package. if I do the trim and mirrors now will it look terrible without the door and tail gate handles until I figure out what i want? Or should I leave it all off until I have everything else and install all of it at the same time? I'm having my nerf bars and billet grill installed next week (hopefully, it's finally in, just haven't had time to get it on!!)

The TFP are applied with 3M two sided tape. Mine have been on for two years and are on there for good. They will come off only with a heat gun to get the adhesive tacky. I live in Massachusetts and the handles still look great even with -20 below zero and road salt and sand for 4 straight months.

A possibility

I once saw a 99 and it had what appeared to be oem fender trim in aluminum. Smaller than the aftermarket ones. Can anyone do a search in the ford parts books and see if this is the case??Bill

Put 1 mod a week on your truck. That way you have something to look forward to for a few weeks.

I checked out the site, it was great!! the flames would like pretty slick on "Silver Son" I'm not sure about putting them on my truck tho... A girl with flames on her truck??? I LOVE your idea about adding one thing a week to my truck! I should be getting the grill and the nerf bars this week. Then we'll out of town for 5 days, then tires and wheels. I have to wait at least 2 weeks for all of the chrome trim (fuel door, fender, mirrors, etc..) cause they're on my birthday wish list. Asked mom and dad, brother and husband for everything and I better get it, or else!!!!! (no i'm not spoiled!!)
I'm glad to hear about the TFP's was worried when I heard them say 'tape'!! Although, my wind deflectors are taped, and haven't had any issues with them even in our scorching heat in Vegas!!

I know this is gonna sound dumb, but what does OEM stand for!! I've seen it come up a lot, assuming it has to do with original parts or something???? I think somewhere in searching I recall seeing two different sizes available. I went back and checked my bookmarks and didn't see it, but I will keep my eyes open!!
Thanks again guys for all of your help!! I'll post pictures as I get things added on!!! I have a before picture in there now, can't wait for the after!!!!
