Options sticker ?
Hello every one . I`ve traded my 2000 Dodge in for an 03 250 Super Duty 4x4 and as usual I can`t leave noting alone for long. The 4" lift kit was ordered the day after I bought it so its on its way . I was wondering if Ford puts a sticker with the codes for options and so on anyplace on the truck besides the usual door post sticker . I`d just like to know exactly what I do have . I know the basics as far as axle ratios and engine . Its an XL so I know their isn`t a lot to begin with but I`d still like to know as much as possible . I may have to take the VIN to the Ford dealer and run it but I try to avoid the Dealers as much as possible

GM uses a sticker like that (lists all factory-original trim, options, etc...), but unfortunately Ford does not. If you know which dealer sold the truck new, they MAY be able to request a new window sticker from Ford. Only the dealer that sold the truck new can get one, and I'm not sure how far back we can go (which is why I said MAY, being that your truck is a 2003). You're right on one thing: there aren't many options available on an XL. Cruise and tilt, A/C, cloth or vinyl seats, cassette for the radio, trailer hitch, running boards, trailer-tow mirrors, and the exterior Decor Group is about it for 2003.

I know Dodge and Chevy both do but I couldn`t find one on this truck I guess for good reason . The Dodge dealer ran the VIN when I bought that truck ( used also ) and had a complete list of everything you coulds ever want to know . I have a good friend at the local Ford dealer I`ll see if he will run this one for me . I was told the dealers ya buy the truck from don`t like to do it to avoid an argument with the customer if the previous owner removed anything from the vehicle that the VIN says should be their . I want to stop by and order a couple things tomorrow , I`ll see if they will give it a shot .
