Keyless Entry/Door Locks

Keyless Entry/Door Locks
I have a 99 7.3 PSD. I bought it a few months ago and it has an aftermarket remote starter/door opener/locker. The other day I locked my doors for the first time while driving down the road with the lock button on the door armrest, when I tried to unlock the doors with the unlock button on the door armrest it would do nothing. The locks did not make any noise like they were trying to unlock or anything. So then I forgot about it got out of the vehicle (the doors unlock when you pull on the door handle). When I came out of the store and tried to unlock my vehicle it made all the noises like it was unlocking (beep beep) but the doors were not unlocking, I had to use my key and manually unlock the doors. Both my remote and my lock button in the vehicle work to lock the vehicle just not to unlock it. Also my remote starter still works. Any suggestions as to why this is doing it and how to fix it?
Thanks

I'm assuming that your truck did not have factory keyless entry. If this is true the installer would have had to cut your lock and unlock wires in half to put relays on your lock wires. This would have been done either in the door boot harness or behind the driver's side kick panel. I'm thinkinging probably in the drivers boot and the crimp butt connectors might have seperated.
