return fuel check valve ?
where can I get a good check valve. I pulled my old one out a few months ago and plugged the hole in the filter hsg. I would like to hook my return line back up, but I noticed the check valve is no longer a 1 way valve. The center is gone in it. Its a little brass thing, but no ball or spring is or was with it. I have heard that this style is no longer available for sale.

if you are talking about the line that goes from the injector return rail to the top of the filter housing, leave it disconnected. this was a ford recommended tsb back in the early 90's. if you hook it back up, it will only give you a hard start problem again. there is more than sufficient return line in the rail.

the line I am refering to conects to the side of the filter hsg, next to the schraeder valve. I thought this line went back to the tank. It was recommended by the diesel shop to hook it back up. I will double check as to where the line goes today.
