Loud Idle

I have an '06 PSD with about 700 miles on it. When the engine is cold it idles significantly louder, not faster, just louder than it does when it is hot. Is this normal or should I be concerned and have it checked out? Thanks.

plug your block heater in,it is inside your front bumper right side by fog lamp pocket

yeah mines louder up here in pa when it gets in the low 30s and lower.

rpm raises above idle so the engine can warm up faster
