headers
I have a 78 f-150 2WD with the 351M. and I want to put some exhaust headers on it but I can't find any headers for the 2wd model so I wanted to know if the headers for the 4wd model will fit on my 2wd truck. I want some headers that have a 3" collector. thanks

You can try summit racings headers, but they might be for a 4wd.
Dynomax would also be a good place to look along with headman and possibly hooker.
I think they all sell headers with 3" collectors.

headman only have headers for the 4wd model I have looked at them but I will look at the others. my boss at work told me that the headers for the 4wd models would fit on the 2wd models but not the other way around.

ok nobody has the headers for a 2wd 78 ford f-150 so this stinks unless some headers form a different year of truck will fit on mine. going to check out the summit racing headers next I will get back to you guys. ok just checked out the summit shorty headers but they are for a 86 ford bronco with a 351 windsor would they work or not?

ok guys I found a set of hedman hedders for my truck that fit the 2wd model so I guess i will maybe order them their 149.99 so that's not to bad alot better then the 299 that lmc truck wants anyway. now I just have to decide what mufflers i'm going to use?

I went with 2 1/2 " pipe and 12" glasspacks. Real loud at 5000 rpm. Have photos where it comes under the frame to the outside of the frame in gallery.
