LAST EDITED ON 10-Dec-00 AT 02:01 AM (EST)[p]Stay away from the Internet Sales Department of Millennium Ford in Seattle. I placed my order on the 1st of August for a F-250 SD/CC. I received the truck on 1 December. There is to many bad experiences with this purchase to list all of them so I will keep is short and sweet. Dealer misplaced my order for 30 days. I was lied to on numerous occasions. I made three attempts to change the color to what it was suppose to be. The truck showed up the wrong color. To top things off they had it drop shipped to the wrong dealer which was almost 60 miles from the airport I flew into. That was one hell of a cab fare. They called and left a message and forgot to hang up the speaker phone before they start to say bad things and make jokes at me. When all was said and done they really didn’t care. When I finally talked to the head person in charge, he did make things right. Millennium Ford made things as right as they could but I highly advise staying away from there Internet Sales Department.

On another note. I had my truck drop shipped (ordered and bought from one dealer and had it shipped to another for pickup) to a dealer near buy and also had some unpleasant experiences. When I picked up my truck it was at the wrong dealer. This dealer is not the one I will be taking it to for any servicing or work but was planning on taking it to another. These two dealers are the two largest competitors in the state. The dealer I picked it up from put 4 of their decals and emblems all over my truck. 1st off I did not buy it from them, 2nd they gave me the truck with 1/16th of a tank of gas and would not full it up ( @1.99 a gal it cost me a little). Can and do they have the right to put their emblems and decals on my truck when I didn’t buy from them.

Any help on the second issue would be greatly appreciated!

When my Grandma bought her subarbon from a Ford dealer they went out and slaped some emblems on it to. She just tore them off and mailed back to them with a nasty note. If you don't like them just take them off. If they put a hole or anything in your truck then I think you have a basis for complaint, but if their just stickers, pull out the hot water.

WD-40 works great to remove the left over residue after peeling them off.

I found out today that the emblems are not glued on they are drilled in. Any suggestions for route of action. The general manager does not return until tomorrow and will talk to him then. Needless to say I am very hot!!!
