4.6L Noise...
I have this noise only at partial throttle, rpm change makes no difference...sounds kinds of like a penny being dragged across a table, really like a whisper, if i turn the air or radio on I can't hear, but not because it isn't there, it is just that quiet...I was just wondering what this may be or if anyone has ever had this "problem", I did a search on this forum and came up with nothing...BTW, it has a new EGR valve on it...It went bad and was making the same type of noise, only A LOT Louder!
EDIT: I can turn the speed control on and set it and the noise mysteriously goes away...

sorry i haven't got back to you, been unable to check under the hood...
i checked it out, and the pcv valve almost seems like it is loose (give is about 1/16ths of an inch), there is also oil around the outside of it, where the elbow connects to it...
