I am currently restifying a 79 4wd crewcab.
One of the things that is confusing me is the steering stabilizer. I can't seem to locate one to fit in the factory holes. I know I can go to
rancho or trailmaster and buy the bracket kit and stabilizer but I was hoping to use the factory mounts. It is a 1979 F250 4WD crew cab.
It is running the disc brake dana 44 in front. Of course it is leaf sprung in front and the stabilizer goes
from the right shock mount(mount has two holes in it) To a tab on the crosslink. The piston end or small end has to have an eye on it and it mounts to the pass side of the truck . the body end or large end has to have a stud and it mounts to the crosslink. If anyone has any idea's I would love to hear them.
