Hello, My name is Patrick Carpenter and I am seriously considering purchasing either a 2000 Explorer XLT or Expedition XLT.
Because I am from a tier-one supplier company, I have been qualified for the X-Plan by Ford.
Can anyone tell me how deep this discount is? Is it really any better than I can do by hard bargaining for a few hundred over invoice, or is it the best deal around.
Appreciate any insight. My email is Alcanpr(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
For those who qualify for X plan, it is simply this: "A" plan price on the dealer invoice plus 4%. It works out to be about $150- $200 below invoice. Hope this helps.
