OK, I am looking for a new website to get news from. I like the layout of CNN, but have some reasons I don't like going there, one of which is they dont seem to update the non-headline stuff very much. I dislike Foxnews website entirely, the layout is just not very user friendly IMHO. I do go to the BBC and Drudge, along with my local newspaper for the local stuff, but am looking for a good site for national and international stuff.
Google news is fairly diverse, compactly laid out and has features that allow you to format the page and news features as you desire. Interestingly, I have the same reaction to the Fox News website, way too user unfriendly, chock full of ads which really slows loading. I like their TV news a lot but hate the web page.
Google News is great. If you want more in-depth editorial type information, try the Christian science monitor. It's more unbaised than the name would lead you to believe. The BBC website is good for international news.
I love FOX News but their website is dead awful. I think that MSNBC has about the best website layout but they also manage to have the worst tv news coverage.
If I don't go to Drudge, CNN or MSNBC I go to Yahoo! News.
