71 Windshield into a 74??

71 Windshield into a 74??
I have been told that a 67-72 Ford windshield will fit into a 73-79 Ford.. Is that true???? And if so, what is the best way to remove the windshield without breaking or hurting it? Thanks

Just lay on the seat and kick the soup out of it. 
Depending on how good the rubber looks, you can either take a razor knife and cut the inside, or peel down the inside and push it out starting at the top in the corner.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
