At Sears I bought for myself the Craftsman ratching Bolt-Out damaged bolt\nut remover set. It's made to removed rounded out nuts and bolts, I got lots of those!!! on the old 47. Hope it works
Speaking of tools, and Christmas...this is the time of year when Sears often has some pretty good sales. Besides what they show on their website, once in a great while, a local store will have an individual sale with some really good deals...worth going to take a look...
My whole fam actually postpones "giftmas" two weeks so I can get twice the tools for the same price by hitting all the after x-mas sales! So I'm still waiting to see what's under the tree...
i got a craftsman cordless screwdriver with the a pivoting hande, so you can use it stright like a regular screwdriver or pivot the handle down to get a little more pressure on the screw. it has already come in very handy. not a lot of torque, but will make a lot of jobs quicker.
also, got a set of standard size quick wrenchs. i have been wanting a set, just didn't want to fork out the money.
My wife got me the Craftsman router/table combo. Also, my mother, father and in-laws all gave me $400 combined + my neighbor gave me $100 for my ryobi bts15 table saw. So I went out the Sat. morning a week before Christmas and bought me one of those niffty pro-grade Craftsman table saws. Originaly priced at $549. on sale for $399. take 10% for showin' up before 10am, total price $360.
I also picked up a 19.2v circular saw for the Epiphany (hey what can I say, I'm hispanic. It's our way )
I sold my spare Milwaukee 18V cordless set, so the cash from that was a little like Christmas. Treated myself to an Expedition as a gift, that's definately a tool for me. Otherwise, it was mostly a year of electronics, not really tools...except for this nifty 7-in-1 keychain knife/screwdriver bit that is the size/shape of a key.
