My 95 Bronco multiswitch is giving me grief. The signal parts work fine but anything that has to do with the wipers is not working properly. The washer spray was the first to go now the intermittant wiper option... is not an option.
I have a spare one for my 97 f-350. They look the same, do you guys think it will work if I change it out. I am on a tight schedule this week and don't want to tear everything apart if it won't work. We are in for a good chinook and snow storm so I want my wife to be looked after while I'm on the road.
I'm guessing they are the same because the parts catalog I have for 80-96 trucks has that part listed for 92-96. Now since your F350 didn't change over in '97 it should work.
This may or may not work for you, but a few months ago my MF switch was giving me the same sort of static you just described. I took some electric contact cleaner and gave it a good spray out in the gap between the stalk and wiper/washer **** on the end of it.....do this while working the switch. Mine is back to 100%.
It could be that dome crap got in there......?
