need help finding replacment tranny

I have a 1982 F-150 4x4 with a 351w in it. My transmission recently crapped the bed on me and i have been having trouble locating a replacement. My current tran is a
T-170 SROD. It has an aluminum case with a 10 bolt cover with the shifter in the rear tail-housing. It is 3 spd with and OD (so 4 spd altogether). My question is does any body know what transmissions are compatible for this year. Any help with different years and/or models will be greatly appreciated. I figure the more models i search for the better chance i have of finding what i need. thanks.

I havent found any where to get parts for the SROD I have. I recomend get a differnt tranny. I spent a wasted week end bouncing between differnt tranny shops and they all said the same thing. It was fords cheap excuse for a tranny and was discontinued. A rug tranny side linkage will work and it lined up through the floor.
