Boxing an 89s frame

Would boxing the frame on my 89 F-150 standard cab short box be a good idea? I'd really like to try boxing a frame for some odd reason. Any input here? Thanks

You watch to much of the tv show trucks with stacy david. I was wondering the same thing....

Well it would certainly make it stronger. Keep in mind you will have to reroute all your fuel lines, brake lines, and wiring harness. Also, where the crossmembers, shock mounts, etc. attach to the frame will have to be reworked. This is a bigger job than just welding some plates on. Take a real good look at what would have to be moved and redone.
