axle gears?

I have a 79 F-250, it has a D44 front and a D60 rear. What kinda gears does it have? i heard you can look in the door and see what kinda gears it had and i checked and i must be illiterate cuz i didnt see anything like that... just gvwr and stuff like that... Any help would be appreciated!

There might be a tag on the front or rear axle that might tell you what ratio is in there. The only way to be sure is to count teeth.

there might be an axle code on the door tag. The tag on the housing is a better way to tell. You can also jack it up and rotate the tire, counting the revolutions of the driveshaft.
