Does anyone have a gauge cluster they bought somewhere? I would love to make one but unfortunatly i am not as talented as most... Is there anyone on here that could make one for me? I looked at the one on dolphin http://www.dolphingauges.com/ford%20...ruck6gauge.jpg and i was curious to see how it actually looks, if someone has one or a picture of one on their truck please let me know.
What guages were you going to use? I have looked at this too, and am considering a couple ideas. Maybe we can design something that isn't too hard to make.
That would be great Ted.. I am hoping to buy some autometers... what did you have in mind? The tranny went on my pikcup and i am taking it to boise/garden city right now..
Eventually, I want to use some autometer guages. I have to look at it more to see how to make it look good with the radio and heater controls. Sorry to hear about your tranny. Setbacks like that suck. Right now, I have mine torn apart to install suspension drop brackets and eliminate the rear blocks.
Yeah setbacks do suck but that's what you get when you have an old pickup... I was hoping to go out and do some wheeling.. but i wont have my truck back until the 9th or 10th..
is there a price listed anywhere for that dash in sert. you could buy the dash insert and the gauges from them, it looks like it would fit in the size of the stock gauge cluster now. not to sure how exactly you could secure it down more that just those three screw holes though
I don't know of any inserts. I was thinking of a straight panel, and then cut out the holes for the guages and the heater and radio. The thing about that is that the dash sits pretty much straight up, and you would have to do something to angle the guages more toward the viewer. That's the part I still haven't figured out how to do.
