'94 Ranger Splash question
I was just talking to someone and was just curious what kind of automatic transmission did Ford use in the '94 Splash (if they used an auto, I dunno, just figured I'd ask).

I have a 94 Splash with the 4.0 auto. It's the same transmission that came with any 4.0,off hand I don't know what that is,but you could get a Splash with any motor and tranny combination you wanted. I've seen them with 2.3, 3.0, 4.0, manual and auto. The Splash was an appearance and handling package. I'm not sure, but my Splash sits a little lower than my 94 XLT. I wish I knew why, I think it may have shorter springs. If anyone knows please let me know. P.S. they are both 2wd.
