gas tank too small!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys, love the site , was wondering if there was anyway i can add a gas tank in my bed or under the bed in the front that can somehow flow into the rear tank, I don't have but one tank as is and it is a 15 gallon tank, way too small i was thinking of a hose maybe that connects the two or something ,any ideas would be a help. This is for a 1995 f-150 4x4 crew cab short bed. Thanks for all the info on this site MIKE

they have ones that appear to be tool boxes, they hold huge amounts of gas, I think someone has one here, i think he drives an F-550, its like 150 gallons.

found who has one, look in kwikkordead's gallery, that ought to solve your gas problem. I'm sure its pricey though...

You can replace the rear tank with one from a Bronco. You need the fuel pump and sending unit as well from a Bronco.

The rear tank is 18.2 gallons, and there's no such thing as an F-150 crewcab in this generation.

I put a bronco tank in mine, real simple to do. Only takes 2-3 hours at most and the 400 mile range on that one tank is nice. Even better since I have dual tanks.

I forgot to mention that you'll have to ditch the spare tire carrier and put it somewhere else. Mine's loose in the bed.

I also guess I should have said that Ford never made an F-150 crewcab in this generation. I was aware of the Centurion conversions (and I want a four door Bronco with a powerstroke very badly) but don't consider them original, factory, or Ford-manufactured.

Most farm stores sell the in-bed fuel tanks. (google for Truck Bed Fuel Tank) You might be able to do a small pump to transfer fuel. Some of the manufacturers make these that are specifically able to do this without fabrication, but be ready to spend about $1000 for them, but they do go up to about 100 gallons.
