Hood insulation?
Is there any kindof hood insulation that ever came on a F250 from the factory that I could use on my 04' 6.0 to quiet down the engine noise?
Any chance someone has a part number?
Also, is there any other insulation parts that can be had to make it quieter?

My 03 F250 7.3 has the factory hood insulation...Very quiet especially cruising on the freeway....
I test drove a 2005 6.0 with no blanket.....you are correct...much more noise.....
Neither my wife or I liked the in cab noise...
I would think the blanket from an earlier year would fit just fine..
Probably a do it yourself install....
