Sway bar

Herd some clunking under the right front. Looked under truck and noticed that the right side of the sway bar was off the sway bar link. Pushed it back on and drove 20 miles only to see it off the link again. What is up with this ?

The end link and swaybar should be held together by a nut & bolt.

The nut and bolt are still there. The link eye keeps sliding off the bushing.

Ya, sorry, I wrote that and it dawned on me what you might be talking about. Are these stock endlinks with stock bushings? If so, that is definately unusual, for two reasons. 1. These things normally have to be pressed out and in with an arbor press. 2. Because of that you shouldn't be able to push a stock bushing back in to the end link. And that may be the problem. The bushing may need to be pressed back in by a shop, or if the truck's still under warranty, by the dealer. What truck and year are we talking about here?
