tire size speedo problem
iv put the the right speedo gears as of the ford parts book and the gears are original 2.75 (iv checked the teeth) iv also changed the speedo 3 times to twise to 85mph and now a 100mph speedo there both the same 10 off. the needel dosnt bounce so the cable is good i thought the speedo gears where color coded but i have 3 drive gears (green ,brown, and yellow) and they all have 7 teeth. im using a 18 tooth driven gear. thats what the ford book said. these are green drive and light yellow driven thanks

A couple of questions, if you hold the gear out in front of you horozontally do the gears from front to back go to the right or to the left? How many teeth are on the gear that worked correctly for the 2.75 gear.
I have a couple spare size gears right hand twist, I know one is a 17T but will have to count the other. I need a gear for a 2.75 and would trade if I have one that you could use.
