brake booster leaking
the brake booster is leaking in 78 ranger and i can hear it when i shut the engine off for about 10 seconds. what i need to know is if the booster from an 89 f-250 will fit my 78 f-250 and what kind of job it is to replace the booster

Look up part numbers for both pickups and see if they match - I doubt they will. Replacing the booster is easy. Unbolt the master cylinder (leave lines attached) and pull it out of the way. The unbolt rod from brake pedal. Remove 4 bolts attaching booster to firewall. Then you may need to swap the mounting bracket over to the new booster.
