Just curious

After two years I finnaly got back on line. Im just wondering If I am the
last working fleet of the big stuff as a contractor. Like to share interests.
My roster is 1950 F6 utillity, 1953 F900 dump, 1954 F800 Dump, 1956 F800
tractor, 1956 T800 Tractor,1978,79 F150 pickups. Od interest is the
54 F800 bought new has overdrive and the T800 is a 5&4 with overdrive.
and the 53 was ordered with 12,000 front and 44,000 rear.
Thanks Sam

Welcome to the forum. There seem to be more and more folks with the big trucks hanging around. I'm sure you'll get some responses shortly.

That sounds like a pine fleet to me. Welcome back. We get a post every once in a while about a Big Job but I think you are the only F900.

Check out the reference thread at the top of the page. George has provided us with a little tutorial on how to post pictures. Sure would like to see some pictures of those 337's, air brake setups, and twin screws.

Sam, you might enjoy comparing notes with Dick Cutting. His fleet isn't all Fords, but they are working trucks. Dick was my inspiration for making my 48 F1 a daily driven work truck.

Welcome Sam. The only big old Ford I have is a 1960 F600, V8 with a 5 & 2. I use an 86 and 88 L8000`s in my Bobcat/excavating business. The 1960 is one that I got from my neighbour and is in fair shape, it did run when I got it 4 years ago but now needs some attention. Hope to play with it this summer. Safe to say that you may well have one of the last working vintage Ford fleet. What do you use them for?
