The rear windows are all the same up until the redesign in 1996 or 1997 when they really changed the body style. If you are looking to add asliding window, check your local junk yard. I found one for a 74 pickup that was tinted and had the single large sliding window. Bought it for $10. Good luck.
well what i was looking for was a sun sheild type thing, (dont remember the techinical term) they look like the things that the old trans am/camaro's used to have and the book said it fit 80-9(something) and a always thought they were the same if they are the same i'll go ahead and order it, i just always assume that the book is smarter than me.
Just a note on the rear louvers you are thinking about.I ordered one for my '76 f100 a few years ago and it wouldn't fit because I had the extra wide alumimum trim around the factory rear slider.I couldn't find one to fit unless I wanted to ditch the optional trim my truck has.Just something to check on before you order yours.Good Luck
If you are in fact looking for a plastic louver for your rear window, they are made to fit under the gasket of a solid window not the sliders.
I took one & siliconed it onto the wide aluminum frame around my slider & it worked just fine, I have since gotten rid of the louver, but if I had it to do again I think I'd velcro it so it could be removed from time to time for cleaning the window.
