Some manufacturers have websites with specifications for tires that you can look up the Revolutions Per Mile which is listed as RPM. You can compare the tires that way easily and figure your speedometer error.

heres how to tell what the rpm should be -
mph x gear ratio x 336
---------------------- = RPM
tire diameter
---------------------------------------------------------------------
to tell the tire diameter-
2 x section width x aspect ratio
------------------------------ + wheel diameter= tire diameter(inches)
2540
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
p225/75R15
225= section width
75= aspect ratio
15= wheel ratio
