Just wondering how long other people are getting out of a set of Balljoints. I replaced my lowers last year to pass inspection and they have to be changed again for inspection. I don't mind the cost but should they hold up longer? This is my third set in 4.5 years. Maybe it's the damn plow!
I know that (FIRE*TONE) has to be very particular. They don't make anything on me because I do all the work myself and bring the truck back. I'd rather go to a local inspection station, but I have free lifetime alignment at FIRE*TONE so I just go there for inspection (and nothing else!).
I don't inspect them too often, only when I feel or hear something odd. I didn't suspect they were bad because I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. Once you pay for inspection (and fail) your kinda stuck because you'll have to pay someone else to inspect it again and maybe (or maybe not) have the same result.
