Brush guard
did the front bumper mountings change between '86 and '87?
Reason I ask is I had a brush guard given to me and I want to know if it'll mount up before I mess with it.

the bumpers and the bumper mount changed in 87. the frame area that the bumper mounts bolt to did not change untill 92.
If your brush guard bolts onto the front of the bumper, and was designed for 80-86 it wont fit a 87-91 bumper without some shimming and fab work.

but if it bolts to the frame (which if it doesn't it wont stand up to punushment) check out mine...if you look close to the pics in my gallery, you can see i cut my bumper to make mine fit (came off a highboy)

Jebadian04: It looks like you have the exact same pushbar I do, except mine doesn't have the side extensions. Mine was made for a 80-86 bumper, but I was using it on my 79 with some shims. It bolted right on to my 85 F-250.
The 80-86 and 87-91 bumpers are contoured differently. You might still get it to work though.
