What Converter?
I am going to get a new c6 transmission, and i am not sure what stall converter to get. I have a 390 that is going to be built and heavy modified over time. It is my daily driver, and my weekend toy.

The converter should be based on your gear ratio and cam specs but be carefull if get to high of a stall and drive it on the street a lot it will generate a lot of heat and could cause problems.

The cam you buy should have an optimal RPM range where it's going to be producing power best. If it doesn't have RPM listed, post up the cam specs and one of us can check on it for you. As RTM mentioned, too high is not a good thing on the street because of heat and really not that fun to drive on the street. I've got a 2500 stall in mine and to be honest I really wouldn't want to run anything much higher than than this on the street.
