Exhaust System drone?

Hey Guys,
Happy Holidays! by the way.
Just wondering what people with different exhaust systems have for annoying
drone...i.e....Banks system,BTM,5" system, staight pipe...ect. I have the MBRP 4" system and the drone was much worse than stock untill i put in my 80hp Jody
chip. Now it is about 50% less but i'd love to get rid of it completely. I know from Otterdriver that the Aeroturbine system eliminated drone completely but at the cost of around $250...OUCH! Mr Banks says his system eliminates the drone.
Thanks for the info in advance...and watch that spiked egg nog!

Best description that I can come up with is that certain RPM the exhaust sounds especially loud. Mine does it at 2000 RPM.

Merry Christmas everyone.
My 5" with a muffler is quieter than the stock exhaust with BTM was. Until you roll down the right side windows. Then it's louder.
I get a little drone at 2100 - 2300 RPM. Nothing like it was before where it would climb into your head. Now it's tolerable, you can carry on a conversation without shouting.

Was running with dead kitty and a BTM. Drone was pretty bad.
4" Banks now. Big difference. No drone and much better throttle responce.
Than added Banks stage 3 Big Hoss and Six Gun. Still no drone and tons of power.

Good to know...thanks!...i remember reading Banks's ad about his exhaust eliminating mid-range drone. Chauk one for the Banks system.

You'll find alot of Banks bashing here. Seem like it to me anyway.
They say over priced and over rated. Whatever, opinions are like a__holes. everyones got one.
Sure you can get a $400 aluminized system that might last 3-4 years in NewEngland. But isn't you truck worthy of a $600 all stainless with a lifetime warranty???

That's right...I figure if i substituted the Aeroturbine resonator/muffler for the MBRP muffler i would have added about $100 more to the price( =$625),but that's still less than $805 for a comlete Banks Monster set-up(including power elbow), but Banks's system will probably outlast my MBRP series 409 SS.

A drone from exhaust that pervades the cab. I get it more while towing my 9000lb camper. No mistaking it.

You don't want the power elbow unless your doing the Banks brake to be used with it.
It gets cold up there in NH and it will take forever +2 day's to heat your truck up.
