Detune for service
I have an 05 with the diablo 45 hp tune on it. I also have a level kit and 35's. The tranny is cluncking on the 2-3 shift and i want to take it in to the dealer. Has anyone ever had any probs with oversize tires and warrenty claims? How long should i wait to take it into service after I detune back to stock tune? thanks for any input.

Depends on how your dealer service views the truck. I run 315's and my dealer knows it and never had any problems with the torq-shift. You are adding to the stress of the drive system, so not much I can tell you.

Even with the leveling kit and 35 the dealer should warrenty it my dealer will we have alot of trucks with lift kits and perofrmance goodes that they will sell and install. They stated to me that if it is found that the falt was produced from performance addons they will still warrenty it I geuss its a dealer thing.
What was the build date of the truck I had a recall on mine for the trans and mine was a late 04 they could have put a old trans in 04 very possible.
