We had a thread like this that ran for days. You cant make a truck bugger proof.
They broke my window. I was lucky, I lost Cameras the first time, and all my tools the second time. Just damage to the truck and $800 in loss. Insurance wont come through for a little bit like that.
When I told the judge he was the highest point in the High cost of crime, he warned me severely about Contempt of Court.
If a guy shows a trend toward a repeated life of Crime, then let's put him away for life with out Cigarette's, Coffee, TV....etc.
I like the attitude of Sheriff Joe Arpayo of Maricopa county AZ. Tent city, barbed wire ALA POW camps, and no amenities.
It's us that's the problem. IF we really put some pressure on our elected officials we might get somewhere. Like making them re-imburse us for our losses!

87 wreckman, If they have ruled in your favor that they owe you, Why not get a lean put on their geo tracker. We can do that here where I live. If a person owes you money and you have a legal ruling to that. You can put a lean on their property and thus they pay you or lose the money when they sell their property. My mother did it to one person and after 10 years got paid with interest. She had to still keep trying to go after them, but the offending person could not sell her car or get a loan afterwards.

when we down where my house now sits, camping. some kid came dow to our party, and broken into on the trucks, a sherrifs truck mind yall, we caught him, the sherrif had cuffed him and took him out in the fieldand threw him in a ditch, They through food around him to get the critters up there.
Somones gotta be pretty darn brave to come to my house and break into my truck....after all its way off the road..and theres a cliff behind my house....i wouoldnt hange him..but i woudl tie his hands and legs together,,and throw em over the side..
