95 ford explorer problems
When I start the vehicle up in the cold I hear a strange sound hard to describe, but it sounds almost like somebody letting the air out of a balloon. Also my oil pressure gauge is reading low...any information would be appreciated.

The sound you are hearing is probably the IAC. Check out the helpful links sticky at the top of this forum. Regarding the oil pressure.... is it low, or does it not register at all? Sometimes on my 95, when I first start it up, it doesn't move at all. If I smack the dash, it will jump right up. I don't believe it is a real guage, in that it fluctuates with oil pressure. It's more like an on/off switch.
