There are not drawings but it mentions floor mounting brackets, under body brackets, seat base risers, and the seat. I'm guessing the rise is some c-channel. There are 4 underbody brakets that are placed under the cargo hook holes (of which the tack welded bolt is broken out).
If anyone has one, I'd be curious to see the parts. I'm planing to make my own.
Like was said in an earlier post: Using a 4th row seat is dangerous. I would never want my children placed that close to that fiberglass rear door. If you were to get rear ended by any truck that had a bumper higher that the Excursions that 4th row will be crushed! I would think twice about that before you put that precious cargo (your children) at risk like that! There are too many lifted trucks on the roads these days that would go right through those plastic rear doors!!
Re: safety.. What are the other vehicles that carry 10 or more passengers like? The vans I've seen oftentimes put that last row right against the window. But I do agree, the EX and a rear facing seat puts the passenger about 2.5 feet from whatever comes into contact with it. Right now, it's a temporary way to carry around 2-3 people, but generally we'd keep the back clear for luggage, etc.
