'79 3/4 ton

Did all the 79' 3/4 ton 4x4s have the HP D60?

actualyl the opposite, very few did. snowfighter package trucks, some camper specials and i think super and crew cabs

all 79 f-350 4x4's had them

This looks to be an old FS rig (ugly pale green) and its a super cab short bed. If this helps.

Good chance that it is then, as then trucks were generally ordered with the heavier packages for the abuse that they see.

I'm going to stop and check it out tomorrow then, see if my suspisions are correct, if they want a good price I'll pick it up and swap the axles under my '84 Bronco, and be one step closer to a mudder.
