I'm kind of a Yankees fan, so when I'm in the mood for a hat, I wear my fitted cap. Other than that, I usually shave my head in the summer, and I wear a $4 Panama hat from Walmart to keep from burning too bad. As other have said, I go through phases where I wear a hat all the time, and others where I just never do. Right now, most of my hats are looking kind of ragged, so some day I'll get a new one and probably wear it for a year.

I have two wool Australian rain hats that I have with me everywhere- and swear by them. Then I have this baseball cap that Dennis DeMarini gave me years ago, and I wear that just about everwhere when I'm not at work and it's not raining. Bigfoot tried to eat my Jimmy Buffet baseball cap, but I still wear it every once in awhile. Pretty chewed up, though.

I have a number of caps that I wear often, but I have never bought one. Right now I have on a "Cisco Systems" cap and beside my desk is my cap rack with "Ford Racing", "Sun Microsystems", "Makita", "Old Dude", and several nameless.

i wear a knitted stocking cap in the winter since i have super short hair (number 2 guard every other week) and my ears get really cold when im outside.

I sometimes wear one in the summer, but i usually have a full face helmet on riding ATVs so i dont wear many! And, shooting glasses and muffs dont fit great over one.

Most people don't know if I have hair or not because I am rarely seen without a hat. If I'm not wearing it, the first thing my kids ask is "wheres your hat?"
I think its a vicious circle, I'm starting to go bald because I always wear a hat, and I always wear a hat because I'm going bald. Oh well.
Usually wear an Arizona D-backs or Browning hats.

I rarely wear them. They seem cumbersome and not necessary, especially when I have a full head of hair.

I have heard this several times, but I don't know if I believe it. For the over 20 years I have worn a hard hat at work and a cap to cover my "hat hair" on the way home, and I have a full head of hair. I may have to blame the gray hair that is starting to come in on a hat, but I don't think baldness is a result of wearing a hat.

I have 20 or so hats and have thrown 100's away over the years. My all time favorite hat was from a radiator shop. "Hillman Radiator Shop, the best place in town to take a leak"

I have a few boxes of hats in my attic that I've collected over the years, but only have maybe 5 or 6 that I actually wear. Wifey doesn't care for my wearing a hat so these days I only wear one to work in the winter months or when I'm out in the sun. The hats I do occasionally wear are either Ford or racing related.

I firmly believe that wearing a hat has absolutely nothing to do with going bald. Until recently, (when the wife came along), I'd always wear a hat and I've got a full head of hair. My boss never wears a hat and his hair is virtually nonexistant....

I used to wear them all of the time...mostly Notre Dame caps. I would also wear knit caps in the winter, until my mother got on this kick of telling me that I'd go bald if I kept wearing hats. I finally just gave up, and haven't worn a ball cap since...I don't even like the way they look on me anymore.
