Sorry Guys I've had a lot of crap happen lately. On Nov 8th my grandfather passed away which was more like my father. So i've been really really busy with the business and all. Then this past friday i wrecked my truck (the one in the signature below), rolled it completely over and toasted the body. So i've been going to work and taking care of the business and trying to fix my truck all at the same time..... So when i wake up it's on the truck til 10 when i have to go to work get off at 7 then take care of business then back on the truck till about 1 or 2 in the mornin. So fellow chapter members if you would like to re-elect a new chapter leader please feel free to do so... i'm really busy and can't offer much right at this moment.... So yeah. sorry guys. Let me know whats goin on with everything. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.
Arron, I posted this in the "names" thread - should have read this thread first!
From the "names" thread: Aaron, you still wanting to be playground monitor? A couple of us want to set up a mini-meet at the Turlock Swap meet, but do not want to step on your toes. What do you think?
Also, did we ever get some FTE and Nor Cal hats to order? Makes it easier to spot each other in the crowd.
Why not sponsor a mini-meet at your place? A couple of hours with three or four members on a Saturday morning would have your cab off and ready for a replacement!
Aaron, man really sorry to hear about what's been happening with you lately. Stay strong brother, it will get better. If there is anything I can do to help out, let me know. Are you looking for a deal on a new cab or anything like that? I'll keep my eyes peeled for parts. Let us know.
yeah it's been a rough past two months... With everything that happened. But io'm gettin through it and all is becoming better day by day....
What i really need is a bed (dual tank doors) or a nice flatbed that i can rebuild. thats's really all i need. Anyone know of someone that can do the wiring in it for me? i bought a 1977.5 camper special 4wd f-250 for $800 for the cab and front end. and it's perfect... no rust, straight and all. I was lucky. it's gotta mildly buit 400 in it with a C6 backing it and a NP205.
Dang Aaron, the 77 1/2 sounds like a nice truck on it's own. Are you sure you wanna strip it for parts. Personally, I prefer the front grill on the 76 and 77 F series. What kind of condition is the 77 in? Would it be better to just call the 79 a loss and move on with the 77? Just a thought, and alot easier if it meets your needs.
