Transmission code
The code plate on the door of my 78 f-150 4x4 shows an "A" for the transmission. What does the "A" mean. The axel's code is "h2j".
Does anyone know what they mean?

The trans code "A" is: Transmission: 4 spd, Manual, New Process 435. I found this info in the " FAQ's & FORUM INFORMATION, -PLEASE READ! " thread in this forum, it might be worth checking out. -Ed
