Block Heater

I went to plug in my truck last night and the wires coming of the plug caught on fire. I am guessing that i have a short somewhere. Any suggestions? Can you buy a new harness with the plug?

Take apart the plug and look at the wires inside. Sometimes after plugging it in taking it out so many times the wires break inside the plug and then contact eachother. I have rewired a new 3 prong plug from the hardware store and spliced it onto my wire and it works great.
