Has anyone tried this Velocity Tuner advertised on ebay for $15.99? Made for the V-10, They make claims of better gas mileage and more HP. Anyone using it and seeing a difference??

They claim "up to a 16% increase in HP" or about 49.6HP
Ford gained 52 HP by adding a third valve to the cylinder heads in 2005 along with extensive mods to the engine computer and a revised exhaust system. If Ford could have picked up 50 HP by slapping a piece of stainless steel in the intake I think they would have done it. I predict that there will be no gain in power and maybe a slight decrease in mileage due to greater restriction.
that is a load of bs, spend that 15.99 on gas. your better off. as said it took ford a lot of work to get 52 extra hp out of the motor.
let me put it plainly hp gains are not cheap. save your cash for a sct excalibrater 2 from motorhaven our sites sponser

I have a recent copy of Popular Mechanics that tested a whole bunch of those snake-oil gizmos. None made hp, none increased gas mileage. One of them DID catch fire, if that helps,,,,,???????
Thanks for your input guys. I didn’t think those things were any good. I was curious if anyone actually paid the money to see for them selves. You answered just as I suspected. That’s why I like this web site so much….
