recalls: now this seems kind of crazy.do ford dealerships still have to honor recalls on the 1978 f-250 trucks? not sure the gentleman who sold me the truck had it done.now i'm concerned about the several recalls on it.how do i go about checking or getting them done.hope ford would take care of me.i also hope they won't charge me for it.do you guys have any suggestions or had it done yourself lately????any info would help...........joezee p.s. thanks again guys
Joe, I doubt it, and if the truck has lived like it is for nearly 25 years, what do you hope to add to it's life now?

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
guys: about the recalls.guess i was looking to take care of things on it so it wouldn't poop out down the line and cost bucks.but it does make sense about a 24 year old truck.guess i was just hoping.i was checking things out and i believe you have about 8 years to go for a recall.their was just so many recalls on it i got spooked.just have to hold my shorts and hope for the best.thanks anyway for the info.next time someone asks me about this i'll have an answer.thanks again..........joezee
