Custom Door Panels?
I saw a 60's Bronco on eBay not too long ago with custom diamond plate aluminum door panels. I want some of my own for my 1994 F-150.
I realize that the diamond plate will have to be cut, holes drilled for the screws, hole cut for the stereo speaker, and a hole cut for the power window/lock switch-set.
Does anyone here have custom door panels of their own?
I also would like to keep the original power window/lock switch-set. I think it would be possible to cut a hole for the harness(es) to go through, then put a bolt through the hole in the bezel of the switches. That should work.
I have access to the aluminum, plasma cutters, torches, drills, saws, welders, etc. I would just like to see if anyone has done anything like I'm thinking of doing.
