Oxy Sensor, Bank 2, where is it?

I have a code that showed up on my 98 exped, 4x4 5.4 liter, indicating a P0153, bank 2 sensor 1. Autozone tested and they have a sensor for $50 by Bosch. Is this a good replacement?

where is this sensor located and how are to replace? the light has been going off for 1 1/2 years. truck seems to run fine. what are the symptoms of not fixing?

pls advise.

Bosch is a fine replacement. You'll find the HO2S1 between the engine and the cat (not after, that's the post cat sensor HO2S2). If you can get a 13/16" wrence on it, you'll be fine. Otherise they make special sockets that allow the wire to come out the side. (I'm not exact sure on your truck so you might need to get under it and have a look.)

If you don't get it fixed you'll likely suffer poor mileage.
