I want a manual tranny it dont matter how many gears, I want to know what ford trucks I can look at to see if I want that tranny. Right now I have a 3 speed but it has the linkage shifter and all and I was looking to get somemore gears.

Typically a 76 would come with a T-18 or np435 manual. Both are 4 speeds with a granny (really low) 1st, so effectively they are 3 speed manuals. You didn't say if it's a 4x4 but I don't know that it even matters as your truck would have a divorced transfer case anyway.
There are some newer options you can use as well which can get you a 5 speed, but I don't know what they are as I'm happy with my np435. Also they'll cost a lot more. The older trannies are much cheaper.

I got the transmission out and cleaned up, I took the plate off the top to see in it and there dont seem to be anything jamming the thing from shifting, the gears seem to be what will not move. I also got numbers off the thing
Here is the tag numbers
RABY EF27
DSTRCA 3590
Here are some numbers that are stamped on the tranny on the opposite side where the 2 shifter things are
ORION 260315

I was looking through the local trading post at transmissions and found one I called the guy earlier he wanted about 150 for a tranny bellhousing steering column and a few others, the tranny was a 3 speed so I am thinking its the same as mine but now i am trying to call him back to see if he will sell the tranny for 75 since thats what the junkyard wants and now I cant find that freaking number no where, not on the phone, not in the paper ad, I had 3 people looking and we cant find it now.AHHHHHH eRRRRRR....... So does anyone have any idea of what type of transmission I have?
